Overview

Ready-2-Work refers to “job readiness skills” necessary for obtaining employment.  Many challenges exist on the road to gainful employment.  These challenges include such things as interview skills, creating effective résumés, understanding how to fill out applications and even on the job training and testing.  Understanding how to navigate the process and obtaining the necessary tools equip students for a successful job search and success on the job.

Overview

Financial Literacy is the ability to understand finances and make sound decisions regarding budgets and personal spending.  Financial Literacy also refers to foundational knowledge key to the accumulation of wealth and the protection of assets such as purchasing your first house and making morgage payments.  Participants learn how to make wise decisions that will strengthen their personal financial stability and ability to achieve family economic success.
