Historic Plaza Guadalupe located at 1327 Guadalupe Street is the central courtyard of the commercial district with twelve food booths, a large pavillion, and plaza surround seating. The Plaza has played host to many dignitaries and visitors including Pope John Paul II in 1987, United States presidential hopefuls and a Mexican president.  Today the Plaza hosts the Fiesta event “Piñatas en el Barrio”, our own “Diez y Seis de Septiembre” celebration recalling Mexican Independence from Spain, Una Noche en La Gloria – Contemporary Art in the Cultural Zone, San Anto Cultural Art’s Huevos Gala, the Barrio Boo halloween community happening and many others.

The maximum standing capacity is 3,000 and maximum seating capacity is 1,500.
